Its 4pm, you have been shopping and strolling on the world renowned Lincoln Rd and now you are hungry and want to get in a great spot for happy hour. Somewhere that you can be in and out without much to think about and get on with the rest of your Miami Beach evening: Maya Tapas and Grill is the spot.
What has drawn us to this particular spot is that is was one of the first happy hours we entered since we moved to Miami Beach. This means that it has been opened for several years on the same location, same quality food, service and drinks! This is a BIG deal on Lincoln Road!
Tapas means small plates, so they are meant for sharing. Many other places on the beach have huge dishes that will fill you up on the first try. This is great when you go with someone else since you can all share and experience different plates.
They are good portions, also served with toast and bread and the Daiquiri is a refreshing option to that Miami Beach sunny day! Here in the high season of October- March? that Garbanzo and Chorizo will hit the spot. Of course, there are many other options, but that has been our staple order since 4 years ago when we moved here- always on point.
Bites and Cocktails are $6 in Happy Hour. Drinks are not cheaped out just because its happy hour, nooo…. they are loaded and will prep you for the rest of the night. Hungry? of course you are, its over 4pm and you’ve shopping and walking!
