If you’re in the mood for brunch a la carte and not outdoors buffet brunch check out Ice Box on Purdy av. on Sunset Bay.
This is a great small restaurant located in the heart of Bay Harbor. Its got some very nice decorations and it feels very fresh something like Hampton’s meet Miami Beach
They have indoor and outdoor seating.
We always sit on the bench by the windows to also get that oudoorsy feel if its hot and humid outside. The other tables inside look good as well, but the bay windows are the best seats.
Tip: order the Grits!
It is sooo good that we order every-single-time! Its their take on grits and is very light, creamy and just hard to describe delicious. Very Miami Beach.
IceBox is famous for its organic chicken and just look at those pancakes, you will not be disappointed. If you want to go more to a healthy side, order an avocado toast, top it with salmon and you have a feast right there. Get there with your friends and share.
And leave space for a desert. pick in to their cake fridge…. if you have a sweet tooth you will have plenty of choices to indulge yourself.
If you’re wondering about parking, worry no more. The public City of Miami Beach garage is in the same building and they have plenty of metered parking outside (but I recommend the City Garage- its cheaper at $1/ hour)
