Remember me?

Felt the need to ask. I know I haven’t written in almost 6 months. So what has happened? Well, many things. I started grad school and was not expecting that amount of work in the very first semester. It was huge. I went to school for MFA in Acting for Film at the New York Film Academy. Those of you who follow my adventures on Instagram probably notice an influx of stories related to acting and filmmaking. So in the first semester, we had 11 classes. Yes, 11!!! I as in school Monday-Friday 10 am -7 pm and then there was homework. some of it was written, but most was memorizing lines, scenes, script, and monologues. so honestly, I did not even open my computer in several weeks.

I did travel and came back prepared with some very cool info for all of you. but then there were finals. At the end of January, I finally got a one week break and went to NYC. my second semester was looking more relaxed than my 1st so I was planning on investing some valuable time in writing.

aaaannnndddd COVID happened…

So firstly, the school went online, then everybody got depressed. I didn’t give up and even wrote and produced a short film which already won one film festival. (read more here)  but to be honest I really didn’t feel like writing about travels while the whole world was quarantined.

I know.. excuses ….. but that’s the truth. Long story short. I am in the middle of my 3rd semester now having my acting classes on zoom but taking advantage of the time I save on commuting and decided to audit some filmmaking classes and also got my certification as Happiness Life Coach.

That’s my report and that is what I was up to till now. today I am determined to write all or at least half of what I have been holding inside about San Francisco – Los Angeles trip as well as my NYC trip a week before COVID spread.

Oh! And I went brunette again 🙂

This is how my online school looks like

Something else I have to add is that I think I will be posting some new things, more videos, and maybe some homemade recipes. Unfortunately many restaurants that I have been posting about already closed some closed in December and many during the quarantine. I don’t want to archive those posts but I think I will blog less about some particular restaurants and more about general travel and food tips.

I will still be posting local eating on my Instagram page so follow me there.

So stay tuned for upcoming posts. and videos.
