Why you need Instagram now

Who or what is that Instagram.

Instagram started as image sharing platform and became a promotional tool based on entertainment. People started going on Instagram to enjoy interesting pictures, to see places, to entertain themselves, to find inspiration and as Instagram grew, more things were shared. Cooking recipes, Parenting advices, fashion trends, and more niches were created every day.  Brands quickly noticed a power of this platform and started presenting new products, new places, by clicking on a link you’d be directed to a shop, a blog post or a video and learn more or make a purchase. Instagram allows you to post pictures, videos, add text, hashtags, and tag people. It allows you to reach much more customers and clients than ever before we were able to do as it is not restricted to adding friends as Facebook. You can follow anybody you wish unless they make their profile private (then they would have to approve you). You don’t need to ask permission and there is a one way following allowed.

Followers are everything here and you have to grow your account. Don’t expect it to happen overnight and unless you landed a cool reality show and became a tv star, you have to work for it. I wrote a whole book to help you and teach you correct steps to grow your followers count and even decided to make it free through my upcoming free online course. Just don’t expect it to grow magically.

So here goes a first alert:

If you don’t enjoy browsing Instagram, you probably will not be able to grow it fast. I perfectly understand that you probably have lots of different things to do, like run your business, study, take care of your children, meeting your friends, working, running errands, sleep and much more and being on the phone all the time is a teenager’s thing and who has time for that. We all have our lives but here is the difference between just being on Instagram and working on Instagram. If you are looking to grow and promote your business or blog or to become Influencer, being on Instagram becomes part of your work.

Working means to be on Instagram for at least 2 hours daily (to begin with) and this doesn’t include posting time. This is a type of work where you can’t cheat. If you don’t do your job your following will not grow, your likes count will not go up and you will not be shown on top hashtags.

So why is that you need Instagram?

If you are still not convinced you need it, let me tell you, people look at Instagram every day and several times a day. Before we even used to calculate the best timeframes for the post to go on so more people could see it. ( I still do post at specific hours for specific reasons but we will talk about it later) Now posts are shown depending on your engagement and on how you use your Instagram. You will notice that you might even be shown the same picture several times a day if you don’t  “like” it on a first time, just because you usually like pictures of that user. The algorithm measures everything.

Every day more and more people open new accounts, Instagram is easy to use and people of all ages can use it. It is easy to contact a person through a Direct Messaging and you can text to a big Hollywood star and you might even get an answer. (remember if your comment doesn’t get answered, those people get thousands of comments and it is humanely impossible to answer them all) but at the end the greatest thing of instagram s that most of accounts are managed by owners themselves even if they are big Hollywood stars or NFL champions.

So if you liked this I invite you to join my waiting list and get the course here (1 email a week). I offer one-on-one consultations at a small fee. You can email your request or DM on Instagram
