Barceloneta Happy Hour

Located in Sunset Harbor neighborhood, an old area in Miami Beach with a loaded list of restaurants and places to hang out, Barceloneta is a Spanish restaurant where we locals love to go!

This is not a tourist trap but a high quality relaxed and casual place. When you are done boating and saw the sunset on the bay (hence the name) or just getting out of the office, or maybe you have a casual date, Barceloneta will offer you what you are looking for.

You come into the Restaurant with an inviting front porch and a side Terraza (Terrace) shaded by umbrellas and looking towards the neighborhood, people walking by and into the indoor bar! Very inviting!

Choose to sit at the bar, outside, inside, high or low top table, make yourself comfortable.

Food: Spanish Tapas, is a food to share. I recommend: Arroz Negro: delicious rice with squid ink, peas and Iberico lard topped off with a langoustine. They certainly have many more, like the Chorizo a la Sidra, but this Arroz Negro is one of my favorites! get some “Patatas Bravas” if you like yourself some spicy.

Be ready for a good quality conversation and pleasant evening. they also have a full menu if you decide to join them for dinner.

So come over and have a glass of wine!

Drinks: it’s famous for its signatures Gin & Tonic. or order a more common one like my Lychee Martini… sooo tasty! But if you want wine…Spanish wine, this is the place to go!

Won’t put a dent in your wallet, Happy hour is offered every day of the week from 5 pm to 7 pm. with the nice selection of wines and drinks. Food items are also in happy hour menu which makes it all much more enjoyable. I’m not talking about just $5 Beers, or just well drinks for $8…I’m talking Sangria, House liquors, House Wines and All Signature Cocktails too! and Food- yes, that Arroz Negro – Happy Hour!

This is one of the #localsecrets. Sunset Harbor is still an undiscovered area for most of the tourists. it is located on the Nor-West area of South Beach and has been an industrial area for a long time, with many body shops and towing yards. Now it has changed but you still can see some fancy body paint shops with some Ferrari or Lambo inside.
