South Pointe Tavern a Happy hour that all locals go

Wanna try local? Hardly anything can be more local that South Pointe Tavern. This place is owned and run by locals. It is an upscale but still casual bar with indoor and outdoor seating.
I, honestly felt in love with this place since my very first visit.
South Pointe Tavern is located in one of the most exclusive parts of South Beach. Pavarotti lived next door, and Ivana Trump can be seen around.
They opened not long ago and became very popular with neighbors. The place recently was expanded and they opened a new area which feels more rock style. There are TVs on the walls for your game watching and real- YES REAL- oil lamps (I remember my gramma had one) creating a nice romantic and cozy ambiance.

Happy hour starts at 5 pm with 1/2 drinks. That includes specialty drinks. This means that the bartender got creative one day and developed those delicious mixes and named them accordingly and you get to taste them for 1/2 of the real price.
On the day of our visit, they didn’t have a dedicated happy hour menu. However, just one order of Crudite dish will be enough to get you and your friends’ nice bites.

If you are not planning a dinner, I would say SPT tray will be a great choice. I will just let the picture speak for themselves.
The ambiance is not your usual south beach feel. This takes you sailing deep into the ocean inside the ship (for me it will be a pirate ship) because I really find all this pirate of the Carribean stuff to be romantic and top of the adventure, but maybe your ship will be a nice trade ship transporting goods from the old continent.

And there is something different going on every day like: Daily specials from 5-7, Taco Tuesdays, Whiskey Wednesdays and Tiki Thursdays. Choose a day or 2 or just come over every day.
