The title here should be : Oyster happy hour on Lincoln Road while People watching!
Lincoln Road is filled with casual restaurants where you can get a bite while strolling along its stores, maybe buy a thing or more and on your way to the beach.
Meat Market offers a little different vibe. Inside, the place has more of an upscale feel, with a very nice dining area when you pass the bar. It gets kinda a New Yorker feel and the smell of freshly cooked meat surround the place.
But Miami summers are steamy hot and at a times you just want to get a refreshing drink without it being over a fancy dinner.
Meat Market has a dedicated menu for happy hour with food and drinks.
I confess we had previously gone to this place for some private events and it was great, however, the times we had gone for happy hour we were let down by the host’s attitude toward as inquiring about happy hour and we were thinking of never returning to it. But our commitment to this blog and our readers (you) is bigger than our pride so we decided to give them a last chance.
I am happy to say that we had fun and were able to chill outside while people watching and sipping on oysters!
A tip here: sit on the tables outside instead of the bar. Tables are served but the waitress and you will get a better and faster service. while in the bar, there are 2 bartenders catering to all crowd and making drinks (we waited for 10 minutes to get the bartender’s attention before we sat at the outdoor lounge area)
